I had been waiting to make this card, but was lookin for the right time. Oh and Hubby's birthday was the purrrfect time. I made this Quad Easel Card with the help of Christine's instructions, which can be found here
Thanks Christine for the inspiration. I'd love to make more cards of this fold. ... and yes.. I couldn't stop taking pictures :)
Since our weekend here is Friday, Saturday.... I wanted to make thorough use of my time.
So it's a double surprise today, cos I completed not one but two projects :)
These violet colored flowers didn't take much time, and I was happy that I could complete them in lesser time than usual, guess I'm getting faster :)
I wast sure if the white frame was looking nice or the black one... although some said, both look equally nice... except for the white one looking too bright, or probably I didn't pay attention to my camera settings.. My DH agrees too, he prefers the black one.
So here are the pics:)
Hmmmm.... so my readers, which one do you like ?
My next project/post to follow in a short while :)
A colleague loved my quilled work, and had asked me to make Mickey Mouse for her. I had been acting lazy, probably cos I knew it would involve a lot of work and patience.
Well, but I had to do it, to make someone happy.
It was very challenging. At one time, I even wanted to just push it away as it was getting frustrating... cos I couldnt get it together... But then, I was like... no, I cant run away, I have to do it... and bravo, I completed. The colleague at work had a bad weekend, and when I gave this to her on the weekday that followed, she was thrilled and said thank you for making my day :)
Have been away from my blog for quite sometime (dont I always do that :P) ..... better late than never. Just a short post to show some of the cards that I made last year (oh I mean for Christmas) but have been really busy to post them.... sorry!! Here's wat they looked like :)
